Gnomes attend Off Season Event

The 2022-2023 Cybergnomes Team 2013 attended Stemley Cup in Hamilton this weekend. With our 2022 Alumni off to University we relied on our one second year student to show new members the ropes. Parents, Grandparents and new Students got to participate in an event so they could get a taste of competition. St. Mary’s High School in Hamilton hosted the event with 21 teams participating. Our students and mentors got our 2022 Robot out of storage and prepared for the competition. At the end of the day the robot had performed all the tasks for which it was designed with one of our rookies taking the controls and traversing the robot to the top of the hangar! The team is looking promising and as always new members are welcome. The new game will be released in January 2023. Til then, the team will be learning about the different elements to build and drive a robot.
